deStreets / accidental art through minimal street photography

A visual study inspired by Kazimir Malevich’s minimalist and geometric art, deStreets explores the unintentional beauty found in urban environments. Through photography, I captured everyday shapes, shadows, and compositions that echo the clean lines and monochromatic tones of early abstract art. These are quiet moments — overlooked surfaces and patterns — reframed as accidental art.

making of deStreets

Walking through the city, I shot instinctively, drawn to simple forms and restrained color palettes. Each image was carefully edited and curated to reveal its inherent geometry and subtle character.

To bring coherence to the series, I designed a logo and visual system aligned with Malevich’s philosophy — minimal, bold, and free from unnecessary detail.

deStreets turns fleeting, unnoticed street scenes into a cohesive narrative.

What could have been missed becomes meaningful, asking viewers to slow down and see art where none was intended.
