An AI-Powered Retail Experience Inspired by the Future

Bringing AI-Powered Retail to Life
To showcase their partnership and the power of Fabric’s AI-driven enhancements, Sitecore and Microsoft created an immersive concept for NRF 2024. The goal was to highlight how Sitecore OrderCloud and Microsoft Cloud for Retail could transform the shopping experience—both online and in-store.
Rather than use an existing brand, we decided to build one from scratch. Licensing limitations pushed us to get creative, so we turned to Midjourney to design a fully original lifestyle brand—complete with futuristic footwear. Drawing visual and thematic inspiration from “The Fifth Element”, we imagined a world of bold, expressive fashion rooted in hip-hop, streetwear, and dance culture.
That energy became the creative direction for the entire initiative.
eCommerce
We developed a fully functional eCommerce website and mapped out an interactive, end-to-end customer journey that blended digital and physical retail. From browsing to checkout to in-store engagement, the experience was designed to feel dynamic, intuitive, and personalized—powered by Sitecore’s composable stack and Microsoft's retail cloud services.
The concept came together organically, shaped by years of creative references, style bookmarks, and ideas we’d been collecting. It all aligned at just the right moment.
To bring it to life at NRF, we produced a high-impact demo video walking through the customer journey and showing the real-world power of the platform—from AI-driven product discovery to intelligent order orchestration. The result was a memorable, future-forward showcase of what’s possible when design, technology, and storytelling align.
